I bought a car (mini cooper) at Hyundai Wonderboom in Pretoria on the 29 November 2013, just after a week of driving it, on the 06 December, the car had a mechanical breakdown, it was then towed to BMW in Midrand, but Hyundai said it should be moved to their workshop to get it fixed. The car was then collected from Midrand to Hyundai in Wonderboom on the 11 December 2013, which was supposed to be collected on the 09 December 2013.
On the 11 December 2013, I received an email from Pierre Croucamp, the sales manager at Hyundai in Wonderboom, saying I am liable to pay the costs to fix the car, as this was my fault that the car broke down, how that happened, I don't understand, however, the car still has a 30 days guarantee.
He (Pierre Croucamp) then sent another email on the 13 December with an invoice of R6 019.60 for me to pay it.
Please assist.
