In September my car overheated and I took it to Car Service city Loui Botha for repairs, they quoted me R20 000 to fix the car, I signed the invoice prior to the vehicle being fixed because I had to claim from warranty. Upon collection of the vehicle I paid Car Service City Loui botha R4000 upfront 1st before settling the whole bill. However upon collection of the vehicle the car could not even start and the bumber was incorrectly installed it was still detached. I took the car for 1day and the car overheated again, I had to tow it at my expence over 3times over a period of 2months because the car couldn't even drive for a day with the same and even more problems.
Now Car service City loui botha expects me to settle the invoice even if they did not fix the my car, they held my car hostage untill I pay. Of which I refuse!! As of today my car has been repossed by the Bank @ CSC because I couldn't pay for a car that was held hostage from me for an invoice I am not liable to settle. And as the Bank collected it the engine was still in pieces and the car is still not fixed why must I pay for services not delivered!! This is an enfridgement of rights of consumer at it highest level!
