I booked Spot-On Movers to do our house move on 30th November 2013. I paid the quoted amount for the move in full (as required by the company), and still phoned to confirm that everything was on track the Thursday before. They were supposed to arrive at 12:30 on the Saturday afternoon, but by 2pm they still had not arrived. Grant Jacobs, the company director, was non-contactable - his cell phone went straight to voice mail - and he never called me to let me know what was going on. We landed up having to call on friends and family at the last minute to bail us out and help us with the move. I have since still not been able to get hold of Grant, his cell phone just rings and he does not take my calls. He has not had the nerve or the decency to contact me and apologise for leaving us in the lurch, or to discuss refunding the money I paid for a job that was never done! What he did amounts to and - DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS MAN OR HIS COMPANY!
