Grant Jacobs at Spot-On Movers was contact via email for a quotation on a move from Kempton Park in Johannesburg to Kloof in Durban.
We received a response for a quotation of R 4995. We were told that no booking would be made unless a deposit or full payment was placed into his account. We paid the full amount. I contacted Grant to ensure that the booking was made to be picked up on Sunday 03-02-2013 and dropped off in Kloof on Tuesday 05-01-2013.
From the start there has been no communication for the move from Grant. We have emailed him numerous times. He did not answer his phone when we tried to find out what was going on.
On Sunday 03-02-2013, a truck arrived to load the furniture but there was not enough space as the shared load from the previous removal (day before) took up too much space resulting in no loading taking place at all.
To date, 05-02-2013, the furniture STILL has not been loaded.
Spot-On Movers do not own any trucks, they sub-contact other removal companies.
There have been numerous complaints about Grant Jacobs and Spot-On Movers.
We strongly discourage anyone to go through Spot-On Movers!
