Last year on 6 August 2012 we had to replace all 4 tyres after having it checked in Strand because the wire was coming trough in the inside. Goodhope Tyers fitted all 4 tyres with Dunlop 225's and the Wheel Alignment was checked. After 10 000 km we are back to square one, the tyres is totally worn out on the inside and still perfect on the outside. After we went to Dunlop in Vredenburg, they sent us to Montagu Gardens the head office for Dunlop and they said Sorry they cant claim for it was the wrong tyres fitted on the car in first place. The Mazda 5 is suppose to be fitted with 205's we need to go back to Goodhope tyres Strand. My husband was furious and drove all the way to the Strand from Montagu Gardens, but for nothing. After 3 weeks of phoning and leaving massages, I got hold of the owner last week on his cell. His answer was, IF DUNLOP CONT CLAIM THE TYERS WHAT MUST HE DO, HE CAN GIVE US A IMPORTED TYER FOR SPECIAL PRICE... Is this how it is suppose to work? Who can afford 4 new tyres every 10 000km. I feel, if the right tyres was fitted in the first place I would not have a problem now. No one wants to take responsibility for this matter. What can I do?
