Two weeks ago I took my car to VW Vredenburg to have my wheels checked out because the steering wheel had a retelling feeling. the guy at VW (Hannes) told me the afternoon that there is absolutely nothing wrong with my car and maybe i should just take it to supa quick for a wheel alignment.
arrived at supa quick..they did the alignment and afterwards still had a rattling feeling on my steering wheel so they took my wheels off to see what is the cause. after inspecting my tyres they saw that there are bubbles on all four my tyres and my tyres are about to burst. they immediately told me that the tyres are high risk and shouldn't drive with them. Guy at supa quick also said that I'n not the first person to come to them with this problem on Dunlop tyres.
On confronting VW they just said that my warranty doesn't cover tyres..fair enough but how can they sell me faulty tyres.
