Selling vehicle without paying for it first

A1 Motor Scrapyard agreed to purchase my Isuzu KB120 for an amount of R10, 000. They paid a deposit of R3, 500 and removed the vehicle. The balance has not been paid and Mr Bonds claims to have sold the vehicle already. Despite promises to pay, he has not done so and has, in fact, disappeared. He said he has moved premises to Honeydew, but in fact has not taken occupation there. He is not contactable at his home in Ferndale nor via any of his or his girlfriend's phone numbers. We have de-registered the vehicle.
