My wife had a flat tyre and drove to the service station for assistance. I followed a few minutes later. She asked the staff to come and help. One person kindly offered. As he was about to start he was told that the manager had said that he must not help. I then changed the tyre in the parking lot with my work clothes on. After changing the tyre i went to tell the manager that it was certainly poor form to refuse assistance to a lady who needed a flat changed. Especially considering the dangers facing a stranded woman in JHB
