To whom it may concern,
I stopped at Total Brackenfell, Old Paarl Rd (Across the road from Fairbrige mall) the other day for a car wash.
I asked them to stay out of my boot as I had some valuables there. I was sitting there waiting the whole time. When my car was done I went to get my wallet out to pay. Upon opening my boot I noticed my GPS had been taken. I had put it there just before letting them wash my car. In the front of my vehicle there is a small compartment that closes where I had left my personal cell phone as it was dead. Upon realising my gps was gone I checked and noticed my Samsung Galaxy S2 had also disappeared.
I called the manager and we called the police.By 5:00 when the police had not shown up and staff were getting restless as they wanted to go home. Understandably. The owner searched my car with me to make sure I did not miss place it. Made me feel like I was the. The staff started looking around and found my GPS hidden in the rubble close to the dressing room. My phone was nowhere to be found. We contacted the police and they said there had been a stabbing they had to attend to.
