On the 28th march I went through the car wash in voortrekker rd., Kuilsriver at approximately 3.30pm (Caltex garage - Kuilsriver- Elto motors) the afternoon, the car wash was empty and the attendant instructed me to go straight through as there was no one in the queue. After exiting the car wash, I got out vehicle to do an inspection to see if the vehicle had been cleaned properly by the car wash machine. After an inspection, I noticed that my right front bumper had been scratched, i then called the Site manager to report that their car wash machine had damaged my vehicle. i then reported the matter to Caltex H/o as the site manager denied that my vehicle damaged by their machine. After 2 correspondence with the owner of the garage he agreed to hand the issue over to his insurance. i received feedback from Mutual and federal to say my claim was denied after i submitted a claim for R1200.00. feedback was given to me to say staff testomony stated that my vehicle was not damaged on their site.the site manager blatantly and therefore my Claim was rejected, as a consumer i feel that i have no rights, as others may damage my property and get away with it. please assist.
