In December 2012 we bought a Nissan Pathfinder from this dealership. From the start we had problems with lights on the dashboard. Firstly, the 4WD light stayed on and the cruise control did not work. In July they sent it to Mayfair Gearbox who worked on the transfer case. The vehicle was there for a month! It came back and less than two months later the ABS Brake light and VCD lights came on. Nissan confirmed that it was still the transfer box. The car has been sent to an Auto Electrician in Germiston and has been there for another month. Now we are informed that this Auto Electrician damaged the gearbox and the 4WD will not initiate. It is now being sent to another Nissan dealership. Johan cannot give an estimate as to how long the vehicle will be there. We paid and planned a trip in December (R14000.00 paid for accommodation). Had to use rental vehicle (R2000.00). Up to date more than 2 month's with no use of the vehicle. I have already laid a formal complaint with the National Consumer Council and will now proceed to lay a complaint with the Auto Industry Onbudsman, contact Beeld as well as Carte Blanche and my financial institution who financed the vehicle.
