Nissan South Africa
Factory Warranty

I bought a Nissan Murano 2009 in Oct 2010 with 33000KM as a Factory vehicle with a Motorplan as indicated in a email from Sales Manager at AAD Nissan Milnerton. Only when they handed over the service book on handover of the vehicle did I discover that I bought the vehicle with a Service not Mplan, the sales manager K. Koekemoer however assured me that the vehicle has its full 100tKM warranty and was fully checked and serviced before handover. A clank.ing noise in the gearbox was reported to them each time the vehicle went into the service but the vehicle always came back as everything was clear and no fault found. Then at the end of last year the vehicle went in for its 90000 km service and again the same procedure I asked them to check on the clank. noise and the vehicle was given back to me as all in order. When the noise got louder in Feb 2013 i returned the vehicle to NIssan CMH was told that it was the tyres which needed replacing. 2 days later the auto gearbox made a terrible sound and I returned the vehicle to be told that the car is out factory warranty and that I need to pay for the repair. As it transpired now it is the Gearbox Diff which was faulty for a long time before
