Phoned UTI's call centre at 07.30 for a parcel that was confirmed and tracked to have arrived in JHB from Cape Town at 04.44. Explained that the parcel contained lenses for an international pilot who needed them urgently or else he couldn't fly. The call centre staff just couldn't be bothered to help me, no attempt to find the parcel, nor come back to me. I picked this attitude up and so took it upon myself to phone them continuously. With no results. Then my staff took over phoning, and they then escalated the query at about 10.45 and only after escalating it did they actually start looking for the parcel, not before. At 11.07 they confirmed the parcel could not be found. the pilot has been grounded. Shame on you UTI!
