On November 2013 rented a car at AVIS at PE airport and drove it to East London. When i took the car from PE airport no one from avis was there to check the car before i left and this happens most the time. When i arrived at ELS airport for drop-off the tow cap was missing, it must have fell along the way or was missing from the onset, i'm not sure. Now i was billed R2, 728.08, for accident repairs but i was never in an accident, when i query they showed me some invoice from pannelbeaters that they went on and changed bumper apparently with mud guards and mud flips. I mean how on earth can a tow cap of a Polo be R2, 728.08. and how can they process false repairs without consulting me, because i filled out a form that clearly states that only tow cap missing. I want my money back!!! and now i call them everyday and its a pain in a neck to get through to them, we i get through they promise to get back to me soonest and their soonest is up to 4 weeks, while my money is gone... please help!
