On the 9th of November I took my car for service, they found that some metals pieces where inside the engine. They then had to dismantle the engine and take the pieces out. The pieces where removed and top part of the engine sent to the engineers. A report came back on the 15th on November. on the 20th November I gave the go ahead to commence the repairs (I had already paid 50% of the deposit required) and I was told the car would be ready by 25th November.
on the 23th November received an email which indicated that the parts ordered had not arrived thus I couldn't get the car on Monday the 23rd. I received another email on the Wednesday 27th that the parts were still in Cape Town.
I have indicated that if my car is not fixed by Monday, 2nd December I would then take my car without paying anything more that the 50% deposit I had paid. Trevor said the repairs have exceeded the deposit and the car wont be released. On the 27th November I asked him to send me the invoice detailing the repairs so that I may discuss it with my lawyer and he has failed kept silent since
My car has been in Car service city for three weeks and it seems as if this doesn't bother Trevor (Manager)
