Why is my watch only sent for repairs now!

I brought my watch in for repairs on 09 Nov 2013. The assistant had indicated that it takes 2-4 weeks to be fixed.
I called the store on 26 November 2013 only to find out that it was only sent on 25th November 2013 due to an error of some sort and that it will be ready 6-8 weeks after that. How is this my problem! I sent it almost 3 weeks ago so that I can have it ready by Christmas, now I am told that it will be ready when its ready by the arrogant lady on the phone.
This is ridiculous, because of your stupid mishap, I must wait for after Jan/Feb when i need it for the holidays. Make it happen Edgars because I am forever having problems with you guys. Your'l are the biggest liars that are unbelievably rude.
