I have a tracker retrieve unit in my vehicle or the VLU-7 unit. The problem is the unit cannot be proven to work at all. Tracker refuses to send a technician out without me paying them a call out fee but I have been paying for a recovery unit not working. According to tracker the unit is supposed to self- test twice in a year. The last time the unit tested according to me and Tracker the unit last updated or tested in August 2012. Now they refuse to terminate a 3 year contract due to their unit not working at all. This is great service we get from a tracking company that is contracted with the South African Police Service. We pay for a service and when we need it, it doesn't work and we lose our vehicles and all they do is say sorry system failed.
