I made a booking to get a vehicle via Avis Call Centre and I was informed that my car was booked and I just need to make sure i have R2500 on my Credit Card and the R560 for the 3 days that I Booked. I went to Avis to collect the car and upon arrival I was dealt with a woman who was busy filling her nails, I ask her if she could assist me and she looked @ me and said 'sure', I Have her my I.D document and Ref. nr. for the booking and she said, without even checking she asked what car did I book, I told her and she said they don't have it, I couldn't understand how they couldn't have it if i booked it, then she proceeded to go on the computer then she said, with a cheeky, undermining voice, you know you must have R5500 on your credit card, i said but that is not what i was informed by the guy @ the call centeand I asked her to call the call centre via the ref. nr to listen o the call i had with the consultant so we could resolve this issue, she said they cannot track via ref nr. I was so shocked because if I had known I would have come with the correct requirement. I asked her what will be the solution, she said she don't know, at that point I took my stuff and left
