I made a telephonic booking to hire a car on a Friday and provided the credit card I was going to use for collection on Monday 22nd July until 25th July. On collection of vehicle I asked if I could rather pay by cheque card and they said no problem. They reserved R1800 and I was told the reversal will be made 10 days after vehicle is returned. Avis deducted my car rental from my CREDIT CARD on the 31st of July and they HAVE STILL not lifted the hold on my funds. They are now nearly 10 days late and with a TOTAL DISREGARD to the Consumer. Avis try harder I'm afraid you have a long way to get there. I am looking forward to receiving my money with INTEREST.
