I rented a car for 2 weeks and paid approximately R4000.00
After 2 weeks rental, I needed to extend the rental by 2 weeks.
I could not charge it to the card I originally used as it had been swallowed at the ATM.
Avis suggested that I re-pay for the first two weeks plus the extended period in total from another account. Basically opening a new contract.
They promised to repay the first R4000.00 to my replacement card.
It has now been 3 weeks and I have received no refund. I have paid for the first two weeks rental period twice and all Avis can do is shrug their shoulders with a blank look on their faces.
I am getting a lawyer and suing them. They are and make no effort whatsoever to resolve this issue. Daylight is what this is. I regret ever doing business with them. I regret every cent i'v ever spent in support of them.
