This is more of a request than anything else: this morning I went to the BP service station on the corner of Gordon's Bay Drive and Van Ryneveld Street in Strand (opposite the Police Station in Altena Rd). Their service is usually very good with a few attendants at work. However, this morning there was only one attendant working. This was about 6:45. On my question as to why there is only one attendant, he responded by saying the owner/manager does not want to appoint more people, so the night shift only has one attendant and the cashier working. This morning the cashier was helping out filling cars.
This service station is normally very busy as it is close to Main Rd. Also, I think from 6:00 in the morning this service station tends to get busier as people stop there on their way to work (as I did this morning).
I would suggest that maybe some more attendants be appointed. Or that shift times be revised in order to accommodate busier times.
