Avis RIPPED me off and NO one can explain
It has been over a year, still no answer from AVIS I rented a car for 30 days in July 2012, rental was R214.91p/d.Upon return of the vehicle I was shocked to be told my bill was R24478.06, I asked if I could be provided with record of distance I traveled, wile still talking. I was charged before I could get any answers.I demand to see proof of where I've been with the car, how did they come up with the conclusion that I owe such. I know I have been ripped off and I won't rest until I get answers. I suspect their kilometers calculator was faulty / as customers we DON'T really get the promised kilometers per day. I hope my complaint will shed some light to this unfortunate incident, until then I remain and unhappy customer. What makes me furious is the fact that the lady rushed to charge my card before giving satisfactory answers. I guess Avis doesn't care about their customers, they are happy to, but unable to answer. I have been driving a rental car now from a very reputable company for the past 2 months, I've even done a week trip from Hermanus to Mafikeng & back to Hermanus, I didn't even do more than 8000 kms
