I view a Chev Utility on the net & contacted the dealership on 30/10 - 07h30am, speaking to Iglatius, he confirmed that it was still available - we agreed on a price of R143000.In the meanwhile I applied for finance with my bank which was approved. I notified NTT. They said they would get back to me the next morning with feedback from their finance supplier. I called the salesman the next day - 3 times and only managed to speak to him at 10h30am. He confirmed that they sold the van to a cash buyer & they could not let a cash deal go. I qualified, I had finance approved within 4 hours that 1st day, sourced insurance - I had a verbal agreement with the agent & he disregards me completely & sells it someone else. They did not even have the courtesy to notify me. Upon bringing this incident to the dealer principal & his superior - Franchise General manager, I discovered they all have the same mindset. I can understand why they will not honor their word or deals as this type of attitude stems from the top with very poor leadership. Business ethics, values, transparency are non-existent at NTT Volkswagen. They will drop your deal so that they can make a few bucks more with someone else.
