Carbon Black Auto
Unethical Dealership-their word is worth Nothing

I visited the dealership on Friday 1 Feb to test drive a Jeep Cherokee, which I really liked and told them I would take it. Then on Monday 4th Feb Brent contacted me to sign the OTP and arraange the finance, which I did within 20 minutes. He however called me 45 minutes later to tell me another salesman had sold the car as a cash deal. Even with my word and the OTP signed it meant nothing. Then the Friday 8th Feb I received a phone call from Brent to say the supposedly cash deal had gone sour, the gent apparently only put down R30, 000 SO HOW COULD IT BE A CASH DEAL!!! Anyway he felt bad and offered the vehicle to me a second time, and again I said yes I would take it, that Friday evening I confrimed via sms that I would take it, and Brent assured me it was mine. Then again on Monday 11th Feb up to 10 am I heard nothing from Brent or the dealership, so again my worst fears becaam e true, they had again sold the vehicle now a second time for cash (I wonder) the Saturday. Thus it happened twice to me that they offered the vehicle to me and decided to sell it on irrespective of my word on both occassions. So I ask you what is a mans word worth if the buyer and seller verbally agree!!
