Budget Movers is a completely horrible service from start to finish. My furniture was picked up a day late due to a "truck being broken down". I was then fed a bunch of by Mr Sean Smith saying that he was sending another truck all the way from Jhb to Dbn. He then outsourced the pick up of my furniture to another service provider who transported my belongings to Dbn Train station for temporary storage until another outsourced service provider picked up my goods. My furniture was delivered 6 days later (from Dbn to Jhb). Sean Smith does not answer his phone or give you any feedback. I had reached a point that I believed that Budget Movers was a business. If I had'nt received my furniture when I did I would have reported a case of / against Budget Movers. Upon delivery my items were damaged and in a poor condition. I had requested All Risk Insurance for which I had paid Budget Movers. I have enquired about the claim process and I still have not received any feedback from Sean Smith. Mr Smith's attitude is pathetic and his response to his poor service was "the world is not a perfect place and sometimes things don't go as planned".
