Non-returns "policy"

I recently bought an item for my vehicle from the Parts Department at William Moffett. When I got home I checked the part against the one on the vehicle - only to discover that it was the incorrect size. I took it back the following day, still in the sealed packaging I received it in.

The Parts department refused to compensate or exchange me for the part.
