I unfortunately bought a Tata Indica that never stops breaking down. I've been all over the place trying to source parts for it. I eventually got tired of being messed around and decided to go to a dealership and pay their exorbitant prices just to get the right parts. I didn't realize that Tata was handled by KIA in South Africa so I went to my nearest KIA branch in Randburg where I met Neil, Robert and Eric in the spares department. Their first two attempts at sourcing the part that I needed were unsuccessful due to no fault of their own- you must see the antiquated system they have to use to find Tata parts! The guys took it on themselves to hunt the part down and through sheer determination succeeded. Neil despatched his driver to collect the part way after the usual cut off time, told me to go home and that they would personally deliver the part to my home. True to his word, Robert went out of his way to drop the part off at my home a 7:30 in the evening! As if that wasn't enough, it cost just less than half of any quote I'd got- so much for agents being overpriced!
Thank you SO much to Neil and his team, you guys rock. Why aren't all spares people this brilliant???
