Good day

I bought a part (drive shaft right) on the Glen branch. it happened that I bought the wrong side. The part is still in the box, intact with the slip. When I go back to exchange for the left size. I was told the long story. to cut the long story short. I was told that they also buy these parts and they can't take it back as they will lose on the part. I find it hard to believe that an establishment like Renault can't get an exchange on their original parts bought from them. even if they bought it overseas, there must be a way of exchanging the part if it's still in a condition it was bought in, with the slip. The Part cost R3000.00. I'm told by the customer care consultant that there are sign on the branch stating they don't exchange on these type of parts. I might have missed the signage and I was not advised by their staff about this. I need to know, does this mean I'm stuck with this part and I've lost R3000.00? This doesn't not make any business principle sense. Renault Meganne 2005 (hatch back)
