Vehicle Damaged when towed by Platinum Roadside

My vehicle was damaged when towed by Platinum Roadside Assist (Contracted by Discovery Insure). They told us to leave the car in their responsible, and capable hands, after waiting for them for over an hour and a half. We were already late for another appointment and assumed that Discovery would use a trustworthy towing company. I was terribly disappointed when I collected my vehicle, only to find a dent on the back of the car underneath the number plate, as well as one cap broken, and one towing cap missing. This is the reply I received: "Good day Mrs Honiball. Unfortunately because the vehicle was signed off in good order we can't hold the towing service liable for the damage. Sorry for the inconvenience. Kind regards, Martinus Rautenbach." Which is not acceptable since the checklist was never checked. There was no mention on the checklist of the scratch on the passenger door, that was there when I bought the vehicle. Therefore the checklist is null and void. If you take RESPONSIBILITY for someone's vehicle, you are supposed to return it in the condition you received it. Very disappointed the rate of service I received by Platinum Roadside. I urge Discovery to not use them again.
