Budget Rent A Car
Fine received as car had not been renewed

I rented a car from Budget Rent a Car East London. On my journey, I was stopped by the police in a routine road-block and received a fine under my name as the car license had expired in August (It is now October!).

Considering that it is the primary objective of a rental company to ensure efficient fleet maintenance, it is unacceptable that Budget Rent A Car can place it's customers at risk through late renewals of their vehicles. Eastern Cape roads are dangerous and had I been involved in a serious accident due to this oversight, Budget Rent A Car would have been responsible.
