Honda takes 8 Weeks to deliver spares!

I have 2 Honda CRF250 Offroad bikes, One needed some mechanical work done and was having the work done by a reputable offroad dealer and repairer in Edenvale. An order was placed with Honda Stoneridge on 21st August 2013. Seems like standard practice for this dealer is to take the full order payment before they process the order! Payment was made via EFT on 27th August 2013.

A number pf parts arrived on the 30th August with more arriving on the 27th September. However there are still four or so parts outstanding without which they cannot commence the work on my motorcycle as they require all the parts.

After several queries and calls from the repairer, now we are arriving at the 8 week mark and still NOTHING. I logged a complaint with Honda SA, I was pleased when Emily mailed me to say she is going to get details from the dealer doing the repairs and Honda Stoneridge to try rectify the situation, this was roughly the 1st October. I am still waiting for them to give me an update.

Seriously love the products (owned 3 Honda motorcycles previously) but will find it extremely difficult to ever purchase another Honda (of any sorts) again!

Honda SA is really not service!
