Avis
Passed on for debt collection after paying!

In July I reversed a rental in to the hotel parking pole, subsequently ending up with a scratched bumper and cracked tail light. After inspection I deduced that the tail light needed replacing and the bumper a touch up. According to my calculations, the damage should have cost in the region of R2000 (R700 for light and about R1400 for the touch up). In the end I received an invoice over R5000! I then disputed this with Avis after frantic emails and phone calls. We concluded that I pay around R2600. I paid the amount on 27 September 2013 with a proof of payment. Two weeks later I received a call from a debt collection agency for the amount of over R5000 that's outstanding to Avis. According to the agent the case was handed to them on 1 October 2013. I was confused! A few days later I notified Agnes Warneke only for her to tell me she doesn't have my contact details and I should call her-which I did only to reach an automated system that asked me to leave a message. A week later still no response! I'm extremely dissatisfied with the services rendered from Avis and Mrs Agnes Warneke.
