30/9/13 : I delivered my Jimny for it's 45000km service at your Pinetown branch. Upon drop-off I met the serv/manager and assistant. I requested that a rattling / fluttering noise on hill ascents be looked into (serv/manager suggested 'pinging' / timing issue); I also insisted on my used parts as proof of service.

Upon collection @ 5pm I had receipts rushed in front of me to sign, and upon reading service report noted the comment "fluttering noise ... - test drove no fault found". Unsatisfied, I spoke to service manager who assured me timing had been checked and the car had been test driven up hills etc. No anomalies. Leaving dealership concerned, I checked my Trip B meter I had zeroed on drop-off. 0.3km?! I immediately phoned and spoke to Neville, querying how it was humanly possible to assess the performance range of a vehicle in less than 300m?! In addition I searched car and found no used parts as requested.

He rang the next day, acknowledging the car had in fact not been adequately test driven and that cleaning staff had removed parts (?!). Frankly I don't know what to believe now - half truths abound. I expected more from the Suzuki brand - very unsatisfied!
