I had a parcel sent from Durban to Cape Town, I was told this would take 3 days, firstly they never told me the first day didn't 'count' or that they don't deliver on a Saturday, regardless this was beside the point as I should have asked. I only required my parcel for a client by Monday evening, so a Monday evening delivery was not a problem. After calling the company they told me it was due for delivery on Monday, all was great.. Called the driver 'George' and confirmed that he would drop off at 5pm. I sat waiting from 4:40 to 7pm waiting for my parcel, no call, no note nothing, no answer on the drivers phone (called him20 times) smsed him, asking if he was coming--- nothing! Eventually after I sent him a message saying I had mailed his manager I got a call, they accused me of not being home- there where 3 people home all day no call note was left- eventually came out that he did not come at all. They where unwilling to send me the parcel so I had to drive 40 min to collect my supposedly 'courierd' parcel. In the future I will use the post office, it is cheaper and clearly way way more reliable.
