Had a parcel to be delevered to Durban from Cape Town and I called RAMS for info.
RAMS employee 1: Parcel in Durban Friday to be delivered Monday
RAMS employee 2: Parcel in Durban Friday and delivered Friday
RAMS employee 3: Parcel in Durban Monday for delivery Monday (delay because parcel missed first truck).
Because there is no one at home on Monday to accept delivery I arranged with employee 3 and he said it would be no problem that the delivery could be between 4 and 5 pm
Then I got hold of La-kita (Supervisor) as I was still concerned on delivery and she informed me that I could not agree to a fixed time and I had to make alternate arrangements. Thats now done and I'll follow up later to see if those details for alternate delivery has been recorded correctly. Hopefully Monday is still the D-Day1
My concern is around missed trucks and 4 different versions of the delivery of a simple parcel...
