Supa Quick
JOB NOT DONE

I am making this complaint on behalf of Douglas Weaver, Driver at Noordhoek Manor, Noordhoek, and Cle du Cap, Kirstenhof, Retirement Villages, Cape

At the beginning of March, Mr Douglas Weaver, took his Daihatsu Terrios to Supa Quick in Fish Hoek for repair. He told Mr Chris vd Merwe, one of the directors, to REPAIR AS NECESSARY in order to get the vehicle into a road worthy condition.
The vehicle had been misfiring, smoking and needed mechanical attention..

Repairs were done - new valves were ordered from Japan which took six weeks and cost Douglas R12 000. The vehicle continued to smoke, etc. after the repair. He was advised by Chris vd Merwe at Supa Quick Fish Hoek that further repairs were necessary at a later stage but the vehicle could be driven safely meanwhile.
The vehicle was taken to the agents, Multifranchise who quoted over R30 000 to repair. They have called Supa Quick in to discuss compensation for Douglas but nothing further has happened.
Supaquick Head Office have been contacted but the decline to assist. The AA warns not to leave vehicles at garages for extended periods, the MIF does nothing either.
Is there something sinister going on?
