I need to stress my unhappiness with this vehicle as from day one I have had endless trouble with it. Bought it as a DEMO model with 21 000km and around 28 000km the first engine went and had to be replace (which took forever too) as it had to be order from Germany and we are now two years down the line and once again, it's in the VW Alpine for repairs but this time they are not too sure what the issue is and waiting the diagnostic report and this after numerous calls on oil guzzling engine and lagging acceleration. Please see attached service and warranty history.
The list is clearly endless from replacement of motors etc, and have been told by the service agents at Alpine VW that they don't really know what the problem is with this make of vehicle as many are in the shop being fixed for various issues. This says nothing about the excellent service VW is supposed to offer.
This is our one and only family car and every time it heads in for repairs which always takes longer than it really should we sit with no vehicle or having to rent a car large enough for five people (2 kids under the age of 4yrs), why should we be incurring these extra costs when it's the car that's at fau
