Engen Petroleum
Arguing with the custome

Hello

Yesterday my boyfriend and I were at the Steers in Edenvale that is just after the Linksfield Road offramp. We stopped for some burgers at Steers and decided to buy some cooldrinks from the convenience store. There was a sign we noticed with the image of 2 buddy bottles of cooldrink and the price R16.50. I got a Coke, he took the Schweppes. WE got rung up by a surly lady who rang up a total of R21. I asked if there had been a mistake because it should be R16.50. She mentioned that Schweppes was not on special and we were happy to swap for a cookdrink that was. She proceeded to argue with us, asking if "we could read" and even called my boyfriend "hey wena boy" all the way across the shop. She said to another employee of the convenience store "these people are crazy" thinking that we don't understand zulu. What was most upsettign was that were not confrontational in asking to swap the drink. She was rude TOTALLY unprofessional. I am very sure that I will not be filling up at that Engen again.
