I travelled all the way from PMBurg to Joburg to collect the vehicle. 1. Vehicle sold as Demo model but actually an ex-rental vehicle. 2. Complete passenger side of vehicle resprayed. 3. Indicator light, air flow dial, brake pads, radio antenna damaged. 4. Vehicle ID plate filed down - according to police vehicle is and should be impounded. It is also amazing how COR was attained for this vehicle with the ID plate and brakes in bad condition. I contacted Jannie and was told "well we will fetch the vehicle and cancel the deal'.
I then contacted the dealer principal, Kevin G, who said thay will be prepared the send me replacement parts for the vehicle. I am now out of pocket for travelling costs and I believe this was on the part of Barloworld and not in compliace with the GM G2 policy. I have cancelled the deal!
