Picked up my parcel today at Hout Bay Post Office and took it home. Once there, I noticed the envelope had been cut open and stapled together again. The two telescope eyepieces I had ordered from Johannesburg were lying in the bottom of the envelope, in amongst the shredded bubble wrap packaging and the ripped boxes in which they'd originally been packaged. Obviously the prospective had realised he/she had no use for them, and in fact the eyepieces would have been more hassle to get rid of than anything else, due to their very specific market.
This is not the first occasion I've had problems. I will never use Speed Services Couriers again - it is not even worth trying to raise the issue with them - I have spent many fruitless hours in the past trying to trace goods. Tracking numbers aren't worth a.
