Yesterday a truck accidentally took his turn to sharp in Pta CBD and my Yaris 2013 model was narrowly missed. Unfortunately my right hand side mirror was not.
As I climbed out, the truck driver stopped and apologised profusely for his mistake, I expected the whole mirror to be either gone or in pieces hanging by a thread from my Yaris.
I was ecstatic to see that the whole mirror was intact and only bent backwards with the back panel of the mirror that had sprung off and lay in the road, WHOLE and intact ASWELL!!
Unfortunately the truck driver couldn't run quickly enough to pick that panel up and a car drove over it, cracking it.
I knew it was a GREAT investment when I purchased my Toyota Yaris, but I was even more astonished with it after this incident.
Thank you very much for making the parts, much less the car itself, which gets 22km on a liter of petrol, such a treat!!
