I drive a 2008 Chevrolet Captiva LTZ and the vehicle has an intermediate power loss problem. I took the vehicle to CMH East Rand to sort out the problem and after a day they said the problem was fixed, an open circuit. However four days later I had the same problem again and the vehicle was returned to CMH East rand. The following day I was told that the intercooler was leaking and an intercooler hose is brittle and I asked them to replace the hose and to look into the real problem that might be the injectors or diesel pump. After many phone calls a week later I had to find out that the intercooler hose is not available in the country and had to be imported, it will take twenty one working days. When I asked why they did not sort out the diesel problem. I was also told that the engine could not be started due to the intercooler hose that were damaged. I drove the vehicle into the workshop and now they cannot even start the vehicle. I cannot see how GM SA cannot supply spares for this vehicle. I will surly sell this vehicle and never buy any product from GM again.
