I bought a Chery J5 in October 2010 and all the maintenance / warranty / service booklets state from 08/10/2010 to 08/10/2013. Now that I need to use the maintenance part for the brakes and the starter, I'm being told, sorry Wynand the saleperson doesnt work here anymore and neither does the finance lady Cindy. Chery papers from the archives papers show that the car was a demo model - was i not aware of that? but the ABSA documents that I signed shows a new car. Sorry according to the Natis papers and Liquid Capital the car was registered on 07.07.2010 and i do not have a leg to stand on as the plans have all expired and Liquid Capital refuse to pay for the maintenance to be carried out. If I want an extension of the maintenance plan i must pay R9 866 for a 3yrs90000kms cash upfront according to Liquid Capital. So was I charged full 36 months for these plan? Who knows as sorry we cannot help you because of the Natis paper that we refer to. Clearly, the customer is always in the wrong as long as we get our money who cares what was signed for.
