In the month of august my wife had a car breakdown in Mar-gate along South Coast region, on her way from Eastern-cape to Durban. the car started but when she applied gears the car was not moving so we called Volvo road assistant and they sent a tow truck to tow the car. on the following day I called Volvo to confirm everything. The quote was for sparks plug which i approved, later I was called by Mbali telling me that my car was without oil and I approved it telepathically. After few days the car gave the same problem and was towed to Swedocar Volvo in umhlanga. diagnosis outcome was the engine is blown. I requested that further investigation be done which I was advised verbally that it will cost me R6000, finally quote came saying R4075.5 and the finally for string is R5700 which is shocking. Storage is charge R21000 but we have not resolved the main issues and the dealer will not fix my car till I paid the storage fee and work-done in spite of the issues raised not being resolved. the oil which i approved for was not charge and yet is the one which is the course for the engine to blew. Tammy Weeks sent me an email saying they have sent the engine to the engineers for diagnosis.
