Uyer purchased an approved used vehicle only to find out that Volvo did not do the 101 point check and delivered the vehicle to buyer with latent defects, after explicitly confirming checks had been done. Volvo willingly about the condition of the vehicle to influence the sale. Only after buyer pressed Volvo on details did they reveal that they had during the sales process about the vehicle.
Volvo called buyer to apologize and confirmed their salesman had and with and held information from the buyer, and agreed to take the vehicle back and cancel the sale with full reconstitution to buyer. Volvo also confirmed that disciplinary action would be taken against employee.
Volvo has now reneged on their agreement to cancel the sale and is ignoring the buyer. Buyer has taken all necessary steps in terms of the CPA, yet Volvo simply not willing to discuss further.
Buyer seeking legal body to exercise their rights in terms of CPA which is to cancel the sale with full reconstitution.
