Ought a Subaru Forester XT 2008, with 125 000km. car looked to be in great shape. price was also attractive. sales guys was very helpful and I believe did his part to assist.
one week after taking delivery the car lost power and the engine light came on. it was found that there was 1.5l oil in the car. Now month on the turbo has failed.
the warranty that I was sold does not cover the repair. I need to pay R17 000 out of my own pocket.
Other problems;
- Thrust bearing is making a noise
- Rubbers on the steering rack is damaged
- Rubbers on the front and back suspension is damaged.
- Brakes shudder when braking
the dealership manager is not assisting me and is suggesting I claim through the warranty that does not cover the full amount. And they will not fix all the issues mentioned.
