After handing my VW Polo in for minor panel beating work at Renew-It in Wynberg Sandton, I was very impressed with the good work that was done and also the state that my car was handed back to me in.
One thing I did realise, however, is that my USB charger (which fits into the lighter socket) was gone. I decided this is partially my fault as I should have removed all of my belongings from the car. I later also realised that my (semi-fancy) ashtray was rep[laced by a much "cheaper" looking cup. Even though I do not smoke, I find this absolutely unacceptable. Removal of a USB charger could be expected, but how on earth could I be expected to remove my car ashtray as well??
I have emailed Renew-It more than once, but have still not heard a word back from them, very shocking service.
If anyone is looking at using Renew-It, make sure to take out every single removable item (even if it's part of you car), as my first experience with them showed that there are a few there, and forget about them taking responsibility for it.
