I PURCHASED A LAMBORGHINI MURCEILAGO FROM IMPERIAL COLLECTION IN AUGUST 2012, THE CAR CAME WITH A YEARS WARRANTY. IN JULY 2013 THE AGENTS CALLED ME AND SAID MY CAR WAS DUE FOR ITS YEARLY SERVICE.. DURING THE SERVICE THE AGENTS SAID A NEW BATTERY WAS NEEDED AND THIS WOULD BE REPLACED FREE OF CHARGE AS THE ONE YEAR WARRANTY ON THE BATTERY WAS STILL IN PLACE. I COLLECTED THE CAR AND DROVE 2KM TO MY HOUSE WHERE I PARKED THE CAR FOR 3 ODD WEEKS WITHOUT DRIVING IT . ON THE 29 JULY 2013 I TOOK THE CAR OUT FOR A DRIVE AND IT CAUGHT FIRE. THE CAR HAD DONE APPROX 18 KM FROM THE SERVICE DATE THE AGENTS HAD AN UNINTERESTED LOOK AT IT AND IT HAS BEEN AN UP HILL BATTLE WITH THEM TO GET INFO ETC FROM THEM . I HAVE PURCHASED 5 LAMBORGHINIS IN THE LAST 6 YEARS SO I AM A GOOD CUSTOMER OF THE BRAND.
THE AFTER SERVICE IS TERRIBLE, AND I HAVE BEEN TOTALLY PUT OFF THE BRAND. THEY NEED HELP FROM THE PARENT COMPANY LAMBORGHINI IN ITALY BUT ARE NOT GETTING IT. COMPARE LAMBORGHINI SERVICE AND FERRARI SERVICE AND YOU WILL SEE THE DIFFERENCE. THE WORKSHOP MANAGER SAID TO MY INVESTIGATOR THAT IN THE FACTORY IN ITALY THESE CARS ARE KNOWN AS 'BOMBS ON WHEELS' MY ADVICE STAY AWAY FROM THIS BRAND.
