After several attemps with other garages to get my Polo fixed, I eventually took the vehicle to VW, Menlyn. At first I was not extremely impressed with the feedback I received. However, the workshop manager and Neil gave me the feedback I needed in order make the right decisions. Keep in mind, in less than 2 weeks I spent almost R14, 000, just to get my Polo back, with exactly the same problem I took it for, to another workshop.
Even Klaas, VW's driver, listened to my story of frustration!!
Well, it's being two days now, driving around with my car - what a pleasure! Polo's engine not 'cutting out 11 times between Pta North and Pta East etc. etc.
My point is - if you drive VW, take vehicle to VW. If you drive a Merc, take the vehicle to Merc.
Hendrik, Neill and Klaas - thank you for putting an end to the almost 3 weeks nightmare I experienced with my vehicle and 'other workshops'. I learned a valuable lesson.
