DO NOT BUY A TATA OR THE MAINTAINANCE PLAN!!!

On 11 February 2011 I and my Fianc? at that time, purchased a TATA Indica Vista 1.4 INI. We were offered maintenance plans, service plans, Auto Tech body repair plans etc. and due to immense excitement of investing in our first new car, we believed in everything the salesman told us and he ensured us that we will not have any trouble when something happens or when something will need to be replaced, and the best part, 5 YEARS of all-inclusive cover for only R99.00 per month. Almost 2 years down the line now, and we have never used these benefits, but unfortunately the Tata's water bottle is cracked and need to be replaced. All of a sudden, the water bottle is not covered anymore and now we are told the actual truth of this grand maintenance plans. Apparently the water bottle is only covered for the first year, now this shows the believe that Tata has in their quality when certain parts are only covered partially. Although the staff at the multi franchise Princess Crossing is very helpful and trying their best to help us, we are facing expenses that we cannot afford, maybe if we did not have to pay for service plans that is no good, we might have had the money to pay for repairs.
